The next 15th Ward Democrats general membership meeting will be at 7pm on Thursday, August 27th at Mekong Restaurant (3131 S. Grand Blvd.). We hope you can join us. Come early, order dinner and support a local business! In addition to hearing from our elected officials, we have two items on the agenda for Thursday. First, we'll be holding a brainstorming session for the future of our organization — i.e. how can we grow membership. better engage voters, should we consider community service of various sorts, etc.? So please, bring your ideas and share them with the group! Second, all officer elections are in October. Please consider serving the ward organization in an official capacity. We'll be soliciting nominations in September.
