15th Ward Mass Meeting - Delegate Selection - April 7

If you are interested in serving as a delegate to the 2016 Democratic Missouri State and/or National Conventions, you'll need to attend your ward's or township's mass meeting on Thursday, April 7th. All wards and townships across Missouri are holding these meetings on the same night at the same time, following the same rules. Check with your ward or township Committeeperson to get the specific details about your meeting.

For the 15th Ward, we will be meeting in the basement of the Oak Hill Presbyterian Church at 4111 Connecticut. The meeting officially begins at 7:30pm, BUT arrive EARLY! -- if you're not in line to sign in at the meeting location BEFORE 7:30pm, you will NOT be able allowed to participate in delegate selection. Do NOT arrive late. I recommend arriving by 7:10pm to give yourself time to check in and fill out all necessary forms.

All registered voters in the 15th Ward who consider themselves Democrats are invited to participate. The rule about having to vote in the Presidential Preference Primary has been dropped for this year.

Those wishing to participate on April 7 at Oak Hill Presbyterian Church are invited to complete Form MM -- https://missouridemocrats.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Form-MM-53122-3.pdf
-- by March 31st and return it to the Missouri Democratic Party. We are in the 1st Congressional District. The rule requiring this form to be filled out by March 31st has been dropped, but people are encouraged to fill it out ahead of time. If you don't fill it out before the meeting, you will have a chance to complete the form at the meeting on April 7.

More information from the Missouri Democratic Party detailing the delegate selection process can be found here: http://missouridemocrats.org/party/delegates/
