Please join us! The next 15th Ward Democrats general membership meeting will be at 7pm on Thursday, August 25th at Mekong Restaurant (3131 S. Grand Blvd.). Come early, order dinner and support a local business!
Agenda items include: update from Alderwoman Green, legislative update (in preparation for veto session), Central Committee update from our new Committeewoman Torrey Park, call for volunteers for our South Grand Fall Fest voter registration tent, an announcement of upcoming officer elections in October, an announcement about our upcoming issues forum, and a discussion about recruitment of members and volunteers. As always, the floor will will also be open to announcements from members and discussion.
We have a lot of work to do as we head into the fall, electing Democrats up and down the ticket. Let's roll up our sleeves and busy (busier, actually)!
You do not need to be a member of the ward organization to attend the meeting. See you there!
